Our supply of Red Sanders Wood conforms to the general standards prescribed by the Forest Department and is of high quality with deep wavy grains. Our general parameters for procurement of logs are of high standards viz.

  1. Logs perfectly dressed upto heart-wood.
  2. Logs length not below 150 cm
  3. Logs with top end girth of 36 cm and above
  4. Straight logs
  5. Sound logs taken from more than 30 years old tree.

We have direct and personal links with the farmers, who grow Red Sanders trees in their private Lands/farms particularly nearby forest area for more than 3 decades in remote villages of Andhra Pradesh and some hill areas in Tamil Nadu and Idukki District of Kerala, wherein high quality trees are generally grown by the farmers. We locate such farmers and test the soil condition of the area wherein such trees are grown and also make laboratory test of the wood in order to ascertain the quality of the wood and if found good, we procure such wooden logs. Since Red Sanders Wood is coming under restricted item as per the Export Policy of India, export permit is to be obtained for every consignment of export and after obtaining this permit, we are exporting with CITES approval.
